Spend two days immersed in Santo Domingo’s historic Zona Colonial and discover the story behind bachata. A special guided visit to La Casa de la Música will bring you closer to the music’s origins, evolution, and cultural roots.

Train in intimate groups with Samy El Mágico and his team through a series of exclusive classes. The small-group format allows for personal feedback, precise corrections, and individual guidance to take your dancing to a whole new level.

Experience bachata where locals truly live and dance it. We will take you to some of Santo Domingo’s most authentic clubs, including the legendary Monday social at Los Carrandales.

3 PM: Musicality with Joan Soriano

A living bachata legend; have the chance to learn musically with him, so when you dance you also feel and understand the music

6 PM: Guided tour in Santo Domingo

Get to know the first city of the new world. Guided tour in famous Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic.

9 PM: Corito bachatero

Currently the largest social dancing in santo domingo, the capital city of the DR with dancers from all over to live the authentic Dominican bachata experience

Monday 12 April

10 AM: 2 hours intense bachata workshop with Samy El Mágico

Learn about interpretation, step variation, and the essence of Dominican bachata with the best

3 PM: Social Dancing at Batey - Los Carrandales

The most authentic local bar of the whole country! Bachateros from all over the DR come here every monday to show their talent and dance bachata through the whole night. You probably recognize the bar from the viral instagram videos. Time to experience it for yourself.

9 PM: After party and open air concert

We will take you to the legendary open air concert at plaza merengue in the capital city, an experience like no other
